When I came across this at 6:45 in the morning, I was intrigued. What is this beautiful red jam? Is it a jam or not?
Okay here’s what Nam Prik Pao is. Think of sofrito or any seasonings that start stews. That is basically what Nam Prik Pao is. Is that it? No. I am sure there’s more uses for this beautiful bright red jam. Perhaps as a dip for veggies. Usibg this jam could cut calories and fat content by three quarters.
I am coughing more frequently and it definitely hurts to cough. Body and head aches, oh yeah. I have fatigue to the point that I am rady to fall asleep sitting up.
Three weeks to go. Are y’all getting excited? I know I am. (I am scheduling this series in October.)
Zona is fantastic. She has thirty one dishes to choose from for each section of the meal. Top of that is you can pull the ones you want. Dessert is covered as well. Excellent choices all the way around.
There’s nothing better than homemade applesauce. Mrs. Bauer shares her father’s method of making applesauce. Apparently he put a stripe of lemon peel in the water for boiling.
With all honesty, when you make applesauce at home your can add seasonal flavors of your choose. You don’t can. No problem. You can always freeze it.
Here’s a quick update on how things are going. After yesterday’s run to the urgent care facility, I did get a negative result to my first COVID-19 test. We go Wednesday for my second test and Antonia’s test as a precaution.
This is a follow up to the short earlier. The test came back negative. The Doctor did say I probably have picked up a cold. He encouraged me to continue the quarantine.
That’s what I’ll be doing the next few days. I will also retest Wednesday. Feel free to explore the play list I have here. I will let y’all know about Wednesday’s test.
I want to be completely honest with y’all. Last night I took a friend to the emergency room because she was sick. About 1:30 in the morning we got her diagnosis COVID-19. Yeah! She knew there was a chance she had it and still came over and exposed us to it. Not just us, but neighbors who have major health problems. One has had heart problems and the other is on dialysis for her kidneys. We arell weighing on the side of caution. I am very familiar with what governments are capable of doing. So we are treating this as if it’s the real thing.
I just came across this article on Chinese Take Out dishes we can make at home. Awesome! I look forward to making them. I’ll have time on my hands now.
If you go for a healthy diet then there’s at least 20 dishes that are heavy on the veggies. Like the deconstructed egg roll pan. It’s everything you love about egg rolls without the fat from fried wrappers. I am looking forward to the fried rice dishes. And pepper chicken. It’s just like pepper steak beef. You got bell peppers, onions, and sometimes tomatoes. They are all sliced into stick shapes. I wish I could think of the technical name for the cut…🤪
There are seafood dishes like fried shrimp as well. Along with the classic Crab Rangoon and Pot Stickers. I hope y’all enjoy this article.
I was exposed to someone who is COVID-19 Positive. She knew friends of hers had it and was around her. I honestly don’t get hiw someone can know there’s a probability they have an illness that is contagious go around others. Self- quaranting is what I do when I am not feeling good. You feel ill, isolate and see my doctor after a week.
Anyway, we will be getting tested to make sure that we are free and clear of it. Antonia has taken the vax. I am still not fully convinced they even work. However, I do live around people with serious health problems. I have taken precautions for the last 18 months because this is the government we are dealing with and should never underestimate them to avoid direct contact with people. Let’s face it, I can handle people in small doses. That’s another reason I avoid people. Going grocery shopping early in the morning or late at night. 18 months of avoiding COVID-19 positive people just to have someone show up at my door with it.
