Watch “Hurricane Season 2021” on YouTube

Considering how our year has started I decided to do a simple reminder video of hurricane season 2021.

Water! Water is essential to us for hydration, cooking, and cleaning.

Food! Make sure you have stuff that doesn’t require a refrigerator. Also, make sure you have foods that can be cooked over an open fire/grill.

Important papers. Have all your important papers in an envelope where you can just grab them and flee.

Tarps. These are versatile. You can use the to cover anything you need to protect.

For a more detailed list go to any government site like DHS, FEMA, Red Cross, or Weather sites.

Black Vinegar Doesn’t Just Season a Dish–It Transforms It | Bon Appétit

https://www.bonappetit.com/story/black-vinegar

This is an awesome article about Black Vinegar. Hold the phone… Black vinegar! I knew about Balsamic Vinegar light and dark. This Chinese Black Vinegar was new to me. I can’t wait to try it.

There is a variety of them. The attributes of the vinegar depends on where it’s from. Black vinegar is made from cereal grain instead of fruit.

Fried Wontons

I love fried wontons. When I go to local Chinese restaurants I order two bags of them. They just heavenly. The crispy strips fry up pretty fast so you have to really watch the heat. I am going to work on the timing and heat control. Overall I am very happy with the effort.

Vietnamese-Style Sticky Chicken Skewers Recipe

https://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/vietnamese_style_sticky_chicken_skewers/

Chicken cooked over an open fire. Then add a beautifully balanced sauce. Who wouldn’t want that?

The potential here is endless for sides to go along with it. Perhaps a cucumber salad, fried rice with vegetables, or perhaps a noodle and vegetable dish.

Seeing there’s no mayo involved makes this meal perfect for cookouts.

Yes! They do promote their products. However, you can print out their recipes so you aren’t locked into buying their products.

Living Chirpy

I recently found Mandy in a search for Fried Rice videos. Mandy is a Traditional Chinese Cook. She’s absolutely wonderful. She makes Chinese cooking so easy and approachable for anyone anywhere in the world. That to me, makes a difference between watching someone once and not returning again.
