Watch “Independence” on YouTube

When I was growing up my late father would talk with me about the meaning of this day. It never had anything to do with sales or backyard barbecues. Don’t even ask about fireworks. No it was about us as a nation declaring independence from England. Moreover the king. The insanely high taxes and his authoritarian governing. Sound familiar! It should. We are experiencing this very problem today. The difference is our own government is jacking up taxes on us while giving their money masters a pass.

We no longer make the products we once did. No! We rely on China. At the same time the puppets in DC have the audacity to complain about it. No one talks about how this occurred. Then they would be moved to act against the people who caused this. Don’t get me wrong. I am not against nations having open and fair trade agreements. I don’t believe a nation should forsake it’s citizens for those agreements.

By no means am I an isolationist or supremacist. Just the opposite. As I said above I am for open and fair trade deals. I am oppose to citizens having to give up their national culture and identity for it. There shouldn’t be one big dog on the block. That’s how we got into the current situation.

Now I am going to pose a question to those who read this, what independence are we celebrating? We clearly are no longer a fully free people. Last year should’ve shown that clearly. We were told what jobs were and weren’t “essential”. Those deemed nonessential were told to stay home. No you can’t work because your job isn’t essential, but yes, you can pay your bill’s yourselves. Then we were given $1400, $600, and a final $1200 back in March. On July fifteenth some of us who qualify will start receiving $800 to $3000 a month depending on how many children they have. And there’s talk about a fourth and final stimulus payment with reoccurring payments. Again to those who qualify. This fourth will be $2000 per month.
At what expense will this UBI come at? How much more independence will we as a nation give up?

I have said before that I don’t have a problem with UBI when it’s done as needed.

Watch “Pressure Canning Ground Beef in the Presto Digital and the IP Max” on YouTube

I just found this wonderful channel. I am going to explore it further. However, this particular video contains important information about electric canners so I wanted to go ahead and share it.

Vietnamese-Inspired Blender Marinade (Quick & Easy) | Kitchn

I just found this marinade. After reading the flavor profile, I am looking forward to using it. The best part is the only thing I have to buy is a shallot.

A shallot is in the onion family and it has a nice smooth flavor that adds a great flavor to anything.

Watch “Food Fatigue” on YouTube

The key to working through food fatigue is having an ample amount of cookbooks or recipes that are new and enticing to your family. I am not saying go out and buy new food items. Use what you have with new recipes.

Most of my cookbooks are old. They are ones I have had for a long time. Others I’ve bought used from Amazon. I do have recipes that I have printed from Pinterest.

Watch “Let’s make a Bramble ~ Hangin with Heather and Hal” on YouTube

This is the newest video of Heather and her dad. They made a Bramble. What to hell is that? It’s a breakfast meal with potatoes, eggs, onions, and what ever veggies you gave around. Topped with cheese! 🥰

It’s basically a hash for breakfast.

Nagi has the site Recipe Tin Eats. All of her recipes sound delicious.

Nagi gives two bonuses in this article. The first being how to make your own stir fry sauce. The second is her formula for making stir fry. Following it we should be able to build our own stir frys we desire.

This entry covers Chinese, Thai, and Japanese. Which gives a wonderful way to have a variety of meals.

Supply Chain Nightmares

Here we go again. Our supply chain is being hijacked. It’s not going to end well for us. There’s going to be major inflation and shrinkflation. What to hell is shrinkflation? That is when the packages are shrunk down. So instead of getting a full sixteen-ounce jar of pasta sauce, you get maybe fourteen ounces at the same price.

Stores across the country are warning their customers that prices will be going up. Even companies are warning the public prices on their items will be going up. According to Mrs. Kay at Business Insider General Mills is one of those companies. Let’s look at how many companies they own, I am not being mean and picking on General Mills. I am just showing how this announcement affects us overall. Mr. Ken Boyd at Investopedia laid out a great outline with his article last in May showing how many companies General Mills now owns. They have a line of everything from cereal to pet food. Now when all of these items go up at once, you and I will be making some hard choices.

Now let’s look at the water situation in California. Talk about a scam, wow. They are really pulling a fast one with the citizens. While all the ‘authoritative’ sources are screaming drought, the fact is that is impossible. How do you have a drought with a whole ocean next to you? Crank up the desalinators and let them rip. Deborah Tavares has lived in California all of her life. She and her husband had a construction company in Los Angeles for years. Since retiring she has been on a quest to research trends they witnessed which changed a lot of what they were able to do and not do. From building size to water consumption.

There is a panic being caused over the effects of climate change and the world harvest. This is being done on purpose. You and I are going to feel the effects. And people like us around the world. Crops being left in the fields to rot. Genius! Why didn’t I think of that? There are some that are being abandoned for crops that use less water. I don’t understand why they even bothered to plant the ones which require large amounts of water, to begin with. It would have made more sense to plant larger amounts of those requiring little water.
