Ham and Cheese Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls (Air Fryer & Oven) 🍔 – Sunday Supper Movement

I am all for this movement. Bring families back around the dinning table. Currently we don’t have one. Our apartment isn’t big enough.

These sliders are a great way to use up leftover meat. Rather its a roast beef with horseradish sauce and German cheese like Munster. Or if it’s roast pork with a real Swiss cheese like Gouda and a smear of mayo and mustard. Don’t forget a dill pickle to make the Cuban inspired sliders complete.

What to serve on the side? Tomorrow is Super Bowl. Chips and dip. Potato Salad, pasta salad, coleslaw, warm baked beans come to mind. If you go with the Cuban inspired there’s two specific sides. Black bean soup since it’s cold where we are. In the summer plantain chips are incredible.

I have posted slider recipes before. The reason I posted this is you can make it in and air fryer. During the summer the last thing I want to do is heat up the oven.

Freezer Meals

I love the principle of freezer meals. What I don’t like is the price and additives/preservatives. I’ll pass thank you.

Being able to put meals in the freezer your family loves is awesome. You know what is in them. And there won’t be a recall notice. Rachel Tiemeyer has a wonderful variety of meals to pick from. Mix and match meals. Chicken, beef, pork, and fish are covered. Any point on earth.

All you have to do is set aside a block of time on a weekend to hunker down and cook. Or when you make a casserole your family enjoys make extra and freeze the extra. This works for desserts to. Seriously!

If you know you have a birthday coming up and won’t have to bake a cake just bake off in advance. Day before you need it take it out to thaw and decorate.

CARAMEL! That’s all it took to catch my eye. This article gives a look at how the dessert came to the USSR.

Caramel is one of the easiest things to make.  Seriously! Sugar, water and cream. That’s it. And the cream is optional.

Asian Noodle Salad

I came across this salad. With spring/summer around the corner I wanted to post this recipe. For those in Boston I hope spring or summer comes soon. If y’all haven’t seen yet Boston is buried in snow. With more on the way. I am in Southeast Michigan and I am ready for summer.

Here’s an Asian Noodle Salad you could pair with fish of some kind. It would be like a taste of summer. The flavors are crisp and refreshing. You got ginger, garlic and rice vinegar. Peanut dressing with peanut butter. Creamy or crunchy.

Easy Cheesy Breakfast Casserole Recipe

https://www.southernkissed.com/breakfast-casserole/

I came across this breakfast casserole while looking for something to post for today. Breakfast casseroles are perfect. You have all the elements in one product.

Bell peppers are beautiful in this casserole. They add great seasonings and color. Onions bring an earthy flavor. Eggs of course act as an binder for everything. Meat can be ham, sausage, or whatever you have on hand. Some casseroles have mushrooms instead of meat. Or they go along with the veggie aspect of the casserole. Cheese please! Again you can use what you have on hand. Potatoes! You can use hash browns or diced potatoes in this casserole.

Lynda shows how she sets up to assemble this breakfast casserole. Mise En Place is a fancy French term meaning to have everything in front of you. Also, Lynda suggests cracking eggs individually in a separate bowl. That’s how I tend to crack them. This way you can catch amy stray shells that may break off the egg. On top of that, this is a casserole you can easily double and freeze one.
