Table Settings

These are beautiful tablescape. The mix of colors with the flowers and plates. Cups are placed strategically.

The best thing is there’s not so many forks you don’t know where to start eating. You need a map just to to figure out where to start. There’s just enough dinnerware.

Freezer Friendly Meals

Above is a link to freezable brunch items. The second link is to Kimmie from She’s In Her Apron on YouTube. She did a video on items that can be frozen. The advice she gives is walk through your grocer’s frozen aisle to see what can be frozen.

I bet about 99% of what you cook for dinner on regular basis can be frozen. So next time you cook, make a couple extra pans and freeze them.

Cherry Berry Dump Cake – Crazy for Crust

https://www.crazyforcrust.com/cherry-berry-dump-cake/

I have been meaning to try these dump cakes for a while. This cake has two different fruits.

These cakes are so easy you could throw it together last minute. Any fruit pie filling will do. Mix and match till your heart’s content. Dump the fruit filling in the pan, spread cake dry mix with butter on top. Bake at 350° for 40 and 45 minutes.

How to serve it? Your imagination is limitation. I would love ice cream. Hot dump cake with ice cream. Oh yeah! If y’all have this before I get to, please share.

Watch “Weekly Grocer Walk Through: Kroger” on YouTube

How are things going in your area? Here’s what we are seeing in Southeast Michigan.

Over the weekend UN Agri Food Security released a prediction that in six months the world will run short on food. In a year or less there could be an all out famine.

Prices on everything will be going up more than we can imagine. By the end of the year, if not before, the Bibical prophecy regarding a days wages being required to buy food.

Thai Food Vs. Chinese Food: The Complete Comparison Guide 2022

This article is fantastic. It compares Thai and Chinese cuisine. They are both delicious. Well seasoned with fresh ingredients such a Chinese Peppercorns.

The thing I love about Asian Cuisines is the use of fresh vegetables and fruits. Which is something I enjoy about most cuisines. Like most cuisines Chinese and Thai cuisines reflect the areas they are from. Also, these cuisines have been influenced by outside cuisines such as India.

Something I learned from Marion Grasby is that Thai cuisine has curries that came from Muslim countries brought over from Pakistan for instance. When you look at a map you see all the various countries that have influenced Thai cuisine.

China is slightly different. Their cuisine is influenced by the area they live in. In the Western part of China you get beef or chicken because it’s land locked. Beijing on the coast you’ll get seafood. Not that much beef and chicken.

Mother’s Day

Sunday is mother’s day. Yet another day that has been commercialized into being about capitalist making money.

Having my daughter has been a source of all kinds of experiences. Good, irritating and sad. I say sad because it was hard to look at her little face when our Pomeranian Trix passed away. Actually, she got so sick that we had to make that decision.

Watching her grow up has been a joy especially the last couple of years. Seeing her learn the importance of knowing when to say no and enforcing that no. Watching her realuze what it us she wants to do with her life. That’s been the greatest gift of all.

Ani has been the greatest gift of all. There is no price that can be put on that. Let’s stop letting these greedy capitalists shitheads do that. Value the quality time together over mountains of debt.

Watch “May 9th Rumors” on YouTube

There is this rumor going around that President Putin will officially declare WW III on May 9th. I don’t know for a fact it will happen.

Let’s look at what we do know.
1) The BioBiden administration was saying last summer that President Putin would invade Ukraine anyday day now. No matter how many times the man said that the military action on Russia’s side of a shared border was a drill, we were told and was expected to believe this hogwash.

2) In January BioBiden administration started this same hogwash again. At the end of January President Putin finally officially announced Russia will recognize Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics as independent from Ukraine.

3) Russia did go in to Ukraine. Someone had to stop this genocidal rampage that had been going on in Eastern Ukraine for 8 years.

What we haven’t been told.

1) In 2014 – 2015 there was an agreement drawn and signed by all parties involved in the Donbass Region war.

2) This agreement gave Donetsk and Lugansk their independence from Ukraine.

3) The genocidal rampage never stopped. As according to the Minsk Accords stated it would.

Something to think about when you hear someone here on YouTube (or Bitchute) saying they have an inside source; think Deafcon 1 BULLSHIT! Because that’s exactly what you are getting.

How to Throw an Outdoor Party

https://www.thespruce.com/how-to-throw-an-outdoor-party-4586521

Yesterday I posted a first aide guide I keep in my kitchen. I also ordered two first aide kits for the fur balls and one each for my daughter and myself. I either burn myself or cut myself while doing other task.

Summer’s around the corner and it’s time to clean up your yard, scrub up the grill and fluff up the cushions. Living in Michigan I look forward to the Summer.

Next is plan your party. What will be your theme? Beach! How about Cuba??? I can see it now. Mojitos, a pig cooked in a box, fried plantain chips with salsa, rice with black beans. Or Cuban sandwiches… The possibilities are endless. Perhaps a Hawaiian theme with Elvis Presley playing in the background.

Invitations! Who you invite is important? This is going to be about four hours. Food allergies are important. Along with diets. You don’t want to put people together who will lockhorns. Have games like Bucci ready.

Make a list of activities, friends and food. Know what you have then you’ll know what you need.

First Aid Guide

Summer is around the corner and that means grilling season is almost here. What happens when you get to boobs together unsupervised? Accidentally. Here is a guide to basice first aide I recently purchased from Amazon.com.

Front page has directions for carrying someone, checking for pulse, bleeding, and shock (and anaphlaxis).
Second page is wound management, broken bones and dislocations. If you have kids (or husband) you’re going to have injuries.
Burns! I have lost count of how many times I’ve burned myself in my cook range. Here’s something I had really thought about; extreme temperature injuries. Think heat stroke or hypothermia.
This page starts with more weather related injuries such as lightning strikes. No thank you. Then we move to altitude sickness. If you live in the mountainous zone this is a section you need to pay attention to. That’s followed by poison abd bites.
This page goes into depth different creatures and their damage. In a tiny section there’s a box for dental emergencies.
Last page y’all and if course, abdominal and gastrointestinal issues. Then childbirth and pregnancy. This can be complicated if a csection is needed. Or hemorrhaging will require professional attention. Chest injuries can be as simple and unpleasant bruised ribs to collapsed lung. Next up is ear, eyes, and nose injuries. The last box is how to build a survival kit.

Other than that, have first aid kit rather you choose to build one or you buy one. Don’t forget you dog. Our dog is cute as can be. Just not always alert. The cat is hell on paws so we will be getting a basic first aid kit for them as well.
