This warn comes of the ‘threat’ to Roe vs Wade being overturned. Gas prices surging. Food prices are following. The warning itself claimed that ‘foreign entities’ are looking to cause discourse among American citizens. Without no respect at all, BULLSHIT.
Between the government propaganda machine and the government we are so split down so many lines. Why do I say this? Step one to solving a problem is to admit there’s a problem. Then the real discussion starts.
Here’s a wonderful menu plan. Last week was grilling ideas. This week is actual plan. There is something for everyone.
Here’s the two that stood out to me. Western Grilled Hot Dogs. Think barbecue sauce your family’s favorite BBQ hot dogs. With BACON! Look out Porky Pig.
Next is Hawaiian Sheet Pan meal. This has beautiful veggies to add color to the dish. Use the rice or riced veggie product you (or your family) like.
As for desserts there’s a cheesecake here. Personally, during the summer we go for frozen treats like popsicles.
The cost of gas here in Southeast Michigan is out of control. The most expensive is for $5.89 at Kroger without a plus card for their store. This is madness.
Alright, yâall it’s that time of year. June First, the first day of hurricane season. Usually, in mid-October, things start to calm down. This year, however, I don’t know. We’re six months out and we are seeing the development of WW III, inflation, and shrinkflation. Gas prices going through the roof and markets going on a rollercoaster ride. So an extended Hurricane season somehow wouldn’t be a shock.
Let’s review some basic hurricane season prep plans.
Insurance policies. Put your copies where you can grab them out the door.
Do you have them stored somewhere safe? Good!
Water! We can go up to three days without food, but not water.
Food! Having high-quality protein food is essential.
Bug Out Spot! If you have to leave your home do you have somewhere you can go? Got it covered. Awesome!
This article is fantastic. It has everything. Foods to stock pile to personal care. As you read the article keep in mind that this is an older article. The reason I chose it is because of the detailed nature of the list.
Having a well stocked home is going to help us fight inflation as possible. Think of it as securing tomorrow’s supplies at today’s prices. We see prices going out of control. Cheapest gas here is $4.99. One penny from $5.00.
I know we are going into Summer, but to be honest I don’t care. I am looking forward to Winter and trying to make sure we have what we need to survive a potential storm that could keep us in for days. How to heat the apartment? Or heat the apartment and microwave dinner? This is what I am thinking about.
No Bake Dessets are perfect! No baking. Very little if any cooking. A few ingredients and refrigerate or freeze.
I lived in Florida for 21 years and trust me we had our fair share of no bake dessets in the Hell Season which runs from May to October. You can make these desserts ahead. Freeze them or refrigerate until needed.
Personally the lemon cheesecake sounds delicious and fresh. Hersey pie with only three ingredients, awesome. And it’s chocolate… ðŦ There is a peanut butter pie. Awesome!
Are there any desserts that stood out for you? If so what was it… Seriously! Let’s share.
There are so many different ways to do buns. People are finding ways to have pizza and buns are the newest.
Confession time: I have been thinking about garlic cheese bread inspred buns. No joke y’all. Before I even came across this article. It gives a foundation. As you will see on these buns pizza sauce instead of butter. Replace cinnamon and sugar with mozzarella. Add pepperoni and whatever toppings you usually serve with pizza.
Confession: This isn’t actually a meal plan so to speak. There are seven meals and a dessert. That’s the usual weekly meal plan.
There are a variety of meals here. Foil pack, Medertrainian and Hispanic food included. Burgers your thing. Awesome! There’s a turkey burger. The best thing is they are all cooked on the grill. NO HEATING THE KITCHEN UP!! ð
There’s a variety of sides you could serve. Pasta salads that don’t require mayo based dressing. Vegetable trays with hummus instead of dairy based dips. I’m recommending a vinager and oil or chickpea based dip because hot temps and dairy can become dangerous. Botulism anyone! An expensive hospital bill could suck the fun out of Summer. So marinated salads like Kimichi are perfect for summer. I love marinated mushrooms are awesome. Especially when they are cold. Olives are great as well. I actually forgot baked beans. ðĪŠ
Alright…. What do y’all serve at Summer get togethers. Besides the stand bys of watermelon and strawberries.
Hope y’all are doing well. Those who live in the Southeast and Texas area you know ehat time of year it is; Hurricane Season! Okay, here’s what we are seeing.
