Simply Sweet Table Toppers – February | a Shabby Fabrics Tutorial

Last year Shabby Fabrics owner and designer Jen, did a series on Pint Table Runner. This year she and her team are doing a series called Simply Sweet Table Toppers.

I really enjoyed this video to the link. Jen is awesome at explaining the process of assembling thses beautiful table tops covers. Yes, this first video is longer than the rest will be because Jen goes step by step. In June’s video Jen shows an alternate way to do the embroidery. In February to May she does the embroidery after securing the center on the body of the topper. June she shows how to embroidery the center piece before your secure it to the body. Each month has a beautiful design unique to the month:

February: Is hearts for Valentine’s Day. Pink, red and white.

March: Spring is here with shamrocks. Lots of green.

April: Easter is the theme for April. Beautiful light pastel Easter Eggs.

May: Blue and purple flowers with summer around the corner.

June: Is strawberries and officially arrivial of summer.

July: Mid point of summer and yes, the fourth of July.

August: Gardens are in blooming and getting close to canning season.

That’s it so far. I can’t wait to see what September to January will be. You can get kits (38.50 without taxes) to make these or your can download the directions (12.00 without taxes).

Hello y'all! I have hit a point in my life that I miss the simple dishes and times that my parents grew up in. People were kind to each other and the food was homemade from scratch. Before convince food was everywhere. Oh, those were the days... Let's reclaim them and start cooking from scratch again.
