Look at this… π https://pin.it/1vD87L4
The title says it.. I am going to look at them and leave my thoughts.
1. Multitask. Seriously! When you can get two or more things done at once go for it.
2. Straighten up living. We do this every evening. Throw away items that shod be and put away toys. Actually, have your kiddies help with this.
3. Time management. Plan on a block of time per task. Take one day a week to prep your weekly meals. Cut up onions you will (have you window open for this), and shop your home before going out.
4. Light day. Have a day where you can just relax and enjoy being with your family.
5. Organize. Grab everything you need to clean an area before going to task. Try having a cleaning caddy in each bathroom. Set up one closet on each floor to store cleaning supplies together.
6. Limit distractions. America has more distractions than anywhere. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok. And yes my weakness; PINTEREST… The irony is I found this post through Pinterest. Set upa time block of your day for balls to the walls go time. I am talking about cleaning, laundry, or batch cooking. Put music on or an audio book and go at it.
7. Problem: This tip I have issue with. Y’all know I don’t use paper products like napkins on a regular basis. Cloth ones are cheaper in the long run. This tip on her site recommends this. I will recommend having plenty of cloth towels for the kitchen and napkins.
8. Limit how many tines you do dishes. There’s two of us here so we load the dishwasher after each time we use a dish. At the end of a day we run it while we are sleeping. There’s no competition for water or energy in our apartment.
9. Bake your own goods. This falls under the prep once eat twice or more category. I am not saying don’t buy special treats. Just limit how often.
10. Use your hands. Use both hands to get your chores done.
11. Balance days. When you have a day with heavy task, make sure the next day is lighter.
12. Manage your littles… Children can be exhausting. Seriously the amount of energy they have is odd. Schedule time for independent play. Let these individuals ware themselves out. Lay them down for a nap and get a rest to.
13. and 14. These are general things like make beds and fold linens.
Hope these help.
