This post has great ideas to repurpose old towels that have seen better days. I made the cleaning towels. I started out to make wash clothes.

It was simple. Remove trim from bottom. Cut down to the size you want. Then sew (or serge) the edges so the cloth doesn’t fray. Done. If you want to put fancy edges on them, go for it. They are yours. However, the towel I used was so old and worn out that I just cut it fown and serged the edges.
