50 Frugual Things You Can Make

Given the cost of everything going postal, we (you and I) aregoing to have to find alternative solutions to running to Walmart once or twice a week. Below, as usual are things that stood out to me. Hopethis helps and deel free to share tips in the comments box. Or share stories.

FOOD: Neans and Rice is big here. My daughter is half Mexican and we eat beans and rice a lot. Here’s a tip; keep different seasonings around. Beans and rice seasoned with Herbs De Province taste different then when it’s made with Mexican seasonings. Throw in meat with the same seasonings to use up leftover protein.

CLEANERS: I keep two spray bottles around. One with white vinegar and the other with store beand multipurpose cleaner diluted with water. I use a 2:1 ratio. Two parts water to one part cleaner. Now if I need more water fine.

PINTEREST: This site is a staple for me. It’s free. FREE! How many things can we get free? Nothing. So take advantage of Pinterest as a free resource. πŸ₯°

RECYCLE: Yeah! I have said it before, I don’t see the point of disposable paper goods like towels. They cost between $2.38 and $17.14 (minus six percent tax in Monroe County Michigan). So’ no. I won’t pay that. Toilet paper we have to use. I don’t know about cloth ones. Feminine items are a must. But recycling towels, cloth, and napkins is an absolute here.

Share what you (and your family) are doing. Let’s get through this together.

Hello y'all! I have hit a point in my life that I miss the simple dishes and times that my parents grew up in. People were kind to each other and the food was homemade from scratch. Before convince food was everywhere. Oh, those were the days... Let's reclaim them and start cooking from scratch again.
