Look at this… 👀 https://pin.it/3kiPDNe
This post comes from Jennifer Griffin at Dimples and Tangles. Jennifer goes through setting a table for Easter. Layer by layer. There’s five layers here and I will go over them.
1) BASE – Jennifer uses a small blue tablecloth. Personally, I would go with a a light green. There runner she used is green with pink. That’s a little much. I would use a plain light yellow runner. As for placemats, I would print out Easter printables for kids to color.
2) PLATSTACK – I don’t really get the multiple plate thing. No more than the multiple silverware. Keep it simple. Fork, knife, and maybe a spoon.
3) NAPKINS – Napkins can be the welcoming point of the table. If you have artistic family members, let them go crazy on the folding.
4) CENTERPIECE – I am not a fan of having a huge item in the middle of the table. I would rather decorate the whole room. Place flowers on the outside of the room next to the walls.
5) GLASSES – Drink glasses should be added before meal time. Once again there’s no point in multiple glasses. One glass will do the job. Besides all the extra stuff takes up space that could be dedicated to food.
We are little over a month from Easter. Now that we got our internet resolved, I will make up for that now.
