This article comes from Sheela Prakash at http://www.Kitchn.com. She is sharing twelve delicious recipes for Lent. Below will be ones that caught my eye.

GARLICKY MUSHROOM BOLOGNESE: This wonderful bolognese uses mushrooms in the place of meat. Also, Fettuccine in the place of regular pasta. This would be awesome with garlic cheese bread and a Ceasar Salad. For dessert go with a light gelato with a fruit compote.

VEGETARIAN CHILI: It’s cold here in Michigan with heavy wet snow. So this would be awesome with chips, sour cream, and cheese. Serve with corn bread. For dessert a simple brownie with ice cream.

5 INGREDIENT HONEY-GLAZED SALMON: I love salmon. It’s incredible. Such a versatile fish. Takes to any flavor. What to serve with this salmon, fried rice, asparagus, or broccoli with chili oil.

These are the ones that caught my eye.

Hello y'all! I have hit a point in my life that I miss the simple dishes and times that my parents grew up in. People were kind to each other and the food was homemade from scratch. Before convince food was everywhere. Oh, those were the days... Let's reclaim them and start cooking from scratch again.
