Sandwiches are a great inexpensive way to have a get together. Seriously! There’s over 200 countries in the world with cuisines which vary from region to region. But we’re going to keep it simple here.
BREAD: This is where you want to have a variety of breads. Sub rolls (large and small), deli, and artisan breads like Cuban.
MEAT: This is where your money is going to go. Get the sub packs from Oscar Myer would be a great idea. You get three or four types for a bit of money. However eight bucks for one of these packs is cheap than getting several small bags. Of course, if you.have a store like GFS (Gordon Food Service) you can pay about ten to twenty bucks for a roll of turkey and they will slice it the way you want free.
CHEESE: Again this where a store like GFS would come in handy. Get large amount for a bit less money compared to buying several different individual packs.
CONDIMENTS: GFS to the resuce. Get a small box of individual little packets of may and mustard. These are the most common. Whatever you have left can go into lunch boxes. If you plan well enough, school lunches will be covered for a week.
CHIPS: These large bulk stores are great for getting a large variety of individual bags of chips.
SWEETS: GFS has cookies you bake at home. This way when guest arrive they have the welcoming scent of cookies coming out of the oven.
PAPER GOODS: Have garbage cans set up in different places. This no matter where someone turns there’s a place for trash. Make this event easy on yourself. Get paper products that go with the team you group is cheering for.
