With winter on our heels and potential for brown and/or black outs here’s something you could do easy. I am going to break down in prep stages.
MORNING: The morning you know you’re having guests and outages here’s what you can do. Obviously prep the veggies and meats that need to be cut. Make you suops in a slow cooker so you can put them in buffet set ups.
AFTERNOON: Make sauces after you confirm how many guest are coming. If needed prepare blankets or ask them the bring their favorite blankets. And if they have extra candles or kerosene lanterns ask them to bring those as well.
EVENINGS: Before your guest show up prepare the dinning area. This way if there’s a brown out or blackout before or during the meal you and your guests are ready. That and let the compliments roll in.
Even though we are facing brown and/or black outs, we can still have guests over.
