I love apple pie. There are so many variations you can use. Here’s a simple Ball site recipe that I’ve used many times. It works beautifully and taste incredible. Below are two variations I’ve seen but don’t know if they are 100% safe.
CARAMEL APPLE PIE: Liesa from Sutton Daze was the first person I saw can this. Difference: brown sugar vs white sugar. That’s it.
SPICY APPLE PIE: I can’t remember where I saw this. The only thing different was pepper. Use at your own caution. Why? Herbs and spices will intensify over time.
How to use this item? Pie filling of course. Pie bars, cobbler and in a dump cake.
