I gave in to curiosity about this event. I had no idea that it was a real event. I have seen Target ads about it and Dia De Murete. So I just figured it was another cultural thing that corporate America was exploiting for every dime they could wring out of it.

Here’s what I have learned. Diwali has multiple ways to be spelled depending on where your family is originally from. It’s a Hindu Celebration of Lights basically. Like I said above I don’t know much about it.
