Grocery Shopping

The link above is to a free printable list. This article is by Forrest Webber. She wrote this article for Everything Mom. I am new to the site so I can’t recommend it the way I usually would.

This article is in the importance of a grocery list. I agree. Having a grocery list will save you time and money. Having a master list is even better. All you have to do is print it out and check off what you need.

Forrest gives tips for saving money in this article. One is know your budget. This will be the difference between going over your budget and staying under. I would say the absolute most important thing is never go hungry. Yeah! If you go to the store hungry you will give in to last minute impulse buys.

Meal planning is another thing that’s important to staying in budget. Know what you have and plan around the activities you have going on. Plan an eat out night. This would be the afternoon you know is busy. You’re barely going to have time to breathe busy.

Another solution to the above pre-planned eat out night would be to take one day a week (or month) to prepare freezer meals. Which is something I would recommend.

Hello y'all! I have hit a point in my life that I miss the simple dishes and times that my parents grew up in. People were kind to each other and the food was homemade from scratch. Before convince food was everywhere. Oh, those were the days... Let's reclaim them and start cooking from scratch again.
