Slow Cooker Ribs

I love doing ribs in the slow cooker or insta pot. The key difference is the slow cooked taste that slow cooker delivers compared to the insta pot. There are some key factors that makes ribs unforgettable.

1. Remove the film on the bones. Usually the racks of rubs have a film on them. I don’t remember the technical name for it I just call it a pain. In order to have great ribs, it has got to be removed.

2. The sauce. This might not seem like an important thing but it is. It has got to be balanced with spicy, sweet, and acidic. The acidic factor helps to tenderize the meat.

3. Cooking method. I said above I using my slow cooker for ribs. My late mom used hers all the time for roast, chili and anything else she wanted. I am Southern so slow smoked is a favorite. 

With that said, slow cooker ribs are the next best thing.
