Svetlana’s family was very brave to leave Eastern Europe after the Soviet Union supposedly collapsed. Slveta and her family had to pratice their Jewish traditions in private. Her father was a Rabbi. I am sure it was very difficult. Since all most religions were outlawed.

Hello y'all! I have hit a point in my life that I miss the simple dishes and times that my parents grew up in. People were kind to each other and the food was homemade from scratch.
