Shinta Simon is originally from India. She worked in Marketing for awhile than wanted a break. She and her family moved to Switzerland. There’s where she rediscovered her love for cooking. More importantly Indian Cuisine.

Living on Switzerland away from her parents she wanted to cook like her mom and grandmother. Except she wanted to use modern equipment. Like Insta Pot! I don’t know anyone who has an electric pressure cookers that doesn’t like it.

Shinta also uses a slow cooker for dishes that are traditionally cooked with long and slow heat. Shinta hasn’t left the traditional cook range out. You can’t make naan in a pressure cooker or slow cooker. You need a hot surface. A grill or oven.

Hello y'all! I have hit a point in my life that I miss the simple dishes and times that my parents grew up in. People were kind to each other and the food was homemade from scratch. Before convince food was everywhere. Oh, those were the days... Let's reclaim them and start cooking from scratch again.
