Weekly menu 3/6 to 3/12

What’s on y’all’s menu for the week? Before setting a menu I took a look at our week. And went from there.

Sunday Antonia is working till 2:30 so shrimp and fries. Nice and easy.

Monday and Antonia has an early shift and her permit test on the same day. Breakfast for dinner will be excellent.

Tuesday we are cleaning out the fridge of leftovers. If there’s no leftovers then there’s plenty of fall back meals.

Wednesday is meatball subs. Last week Antonia got a meatball sub from Subway. It had been so long since she’d had one. The sheer joy on that litte face. That’s I have to make it at home.

Thursday is taco salad with shredded beef. I am hoping it will be like the Taco Bell Chalupa in a bowl. And I think I’ll do some chicken for Antonia.

Friday is going to be Bourbon BBQ by Manwich. I saw this and had to grab it. I will use chicken that I have cooked off and shredded.

Saturday will depend on Antonia’s hours.

Hello y'all! I have hit a point in my life that I miss the simple dishes and times that my parents grew up in. People were kind to each other and the food was homemade from scratch. Before convince food was everywhere. Oh, those were the days... Let's reclaim them and start cooking from scratch again.
