How to Sharpen A Knife, According to a Culinary Expert

https://www.tasteofhome.com/article/how-to-sharpen-a-knife/

The numver one cause of accidents in a kitchen isn’t burns from cooking. It’s not accidents with maintained knives. Nope! It’s dull knives.

A dull knife can be more dangerous than a sharpe one. Yeah! This is something I learned years ago. The hard way. I accidentally cut myself. Didn’t need stitches or anything like that. It was enough to learn to do regular maintenance on my knives.

Bonus tip; Place a dry cloth towel under your cutting board to keep it from moving around. It takes enough skill to handle a sharp knife. Plac8mg a towel under your board will steady the board you’re using so it’s not sliding around. I hope y’all will read the article and pass it on.
