Food Shortages, Part 2

Yesterday I did a video on shortages I feel is coming and rising inflation. I came across this article yesterday while waiting for my lunch to heat up. I read this article and it surprised me a bit.

Eat This polled readers to gauge the shortages that were frustrating shoppers the most. Number one wasn’t toilet paper. It wasn’t even anything humans could use. Cat Food. Yeah! I showed in my video last Wednesday the sign telling customers where they can purchase their cat’s favorite food or specialty foods.

The next thing was cream cheese. The Kraft brand was gone in the video Wednesday. There were maybe 20 boxes of store brand. Pasta was next. Again I buy store brand. Stock up when it’s 10/$10.

With that I do believe we’ll start seeing more people making their own pasta. Having dried pasta on hand is awesome. Downside is the space needed to store it. If you learn how to make pasta and have the equipment to make as needed will leave more available space for other preps.

Hello y'all! I have hit a point in my life that I miss the simple dishes and times that my parents grew up in. People were kind to each other and the food was homemade from scratch. Before convince food was everywhere. Oh, those were the days... Let's reclaim them and start cooking from scratch again.
