As you read this on Thursday I will be recovering from dental surgery. I am going to have post ready for you to read. Prayers will be accepted happily.

While this article had some good ideas. I do thing they missed the ball. So here’s the type of cookbooks I would send my daughter of to college with.

1. Ethnic cookbooks. My daughter is part Mexican so being able to cook rice is essential. Also, choosing the right can of pinto beans is also important. I know. I could can them but I don’t want to risk not getting my jar back. I would would send my daughter with some small cookbooks on ethnic foods she likes.

2. Ramen. Yeah! I got her a cookbook on Ramen. I seen and it just screamed her name. I also got her an Anime cookbook with the foods you see the characters eating

3. Rachel Ray MYOTO cards. Here’s another thing that just screamed her name. It is every meal most people eat out.

5. And final type of book would be any Rachel Ray. She goes through recipes by showing how to do a master recipe then other ways to use leftover meat. Her books Week in A Day and Three In A Bag are great choices. I do feel like they would offer college students great choices to eat and teach them skills they will remember forever.

There you go. There is the five types of cookbooks I would send my daughter to college with. Of course, if your child is vegan or vegetarian there’s a huge selection at Amazon for them.
