This sauce is similar to ketchup. Actually, it’s elevated form of ketchup.
When I saw a picture of this sauce I thought about ketchup. Then upon reading about it’s origins I realized it is an elevated form of ketchup. If you choose you could make this sauce super spicy and give it some attitude with peppers. Such as a haberno would really give it a kick.
