This video has some basic food safety tips for beginners. Also, it can be a refresher for experienced Grillers.
Seeing my phone won’t corporate and load the video, I will give you the tips here.. 1. Cross contamination… This occurs when pork and any other meat cross the same space without cleaning between them. Seriously this dangerous. If you are new to grilling I recommend your work along side someone experienced.
2. Mayo based salads pose another risk. These side salads are delicious. However, longer then two hours they can start to develop micro-organisms which can you sick. If you really want these sides then keep them in a cooler on ice. Or better yet use marinated salads instead. They are made from oils and vinegar.
